We stock and supply 3 different thicknesses of float glass along with toughened and horticultural glass.

Float Glass

Stocking 2,3 and 4mm float glass for different types of application including picture framing, traditional sash windows and modern windows.

All float glass can be cut to a bespoke size and processed in our workshop. Our glaziers are also highly-skilled at face putty glazing and we can glaze pre-prepared timber windows delivered to our workshop.

In addition 4mm float glass can also be supplied with a variety of tints (bronze, green, grey & blue for example) and in any of the Pilkington obscure glass patterns.

Toughened Glass

Toughening glass enables it to be classed as a safety glass, used to meet building regulations in doors and windows (where below 800m from finished floor level or adjacent to a door).

We offer single pane toughened glass with a lead time of 7-10 days

Toughened Glass is stamped in one corner to comply with regulations. However, if the glass is being used for furniture purposes a smaller ‘furniture stamp’ can be requested.

Horticultural Glass

Horticultural glass is used in Greenhouses. It is the lowest priced glass available. It comes in 3mm thickness and be cut to size if our stock based glass does not fit your requirements, but it cannot be toughened.

Horticultural glass isn’t made to the same standard as float glass, it may have marks or blemishes in the glass, therefore it’s not suited for domestic dwelling applications.

• 730mm x 1422mm (28 3/4″ x 56″)
